7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1!!!! BLAST OFF!!!!! No we didn't visit Cape Canaveral, but we did get to see a rocket launch.
Monday was an eventful day. Bre and I went to the Fancy Nancy tea party. Elizabeth stayed BY HERSELF (for the first time ever) with a sweet lady and her husband in our church and Benjamin got to make a rocket with our children's minister, Bodie! So cool. They spent Monday after school working on the rocket. The paint needed to dry before launching. So yesterday was the day. It was a bit windy, but that did not matter. It was pretty fun. Both Ben and Bre got to launch the rocket several times. Bodie knows how to do all sorts of cool things. He also spent his journeyman years in Peru. So that he is able to connect with Ben and Bre on a different level. Mostly Ben. The kids love him. Last Wednesday night, Ben even got to help Bodie tell the children about Peru.
