Elizabeth's birthday

Elizabeth turned 3 in April. I had in mind to do a cutsey little girly party, but when Brent asked her what she wanted to do for her birthday she said ANNIE! Annie is her favorite movie. Sometimes she watches twice in a day. She can sing most of the songs and will say some the lines in the movie. We don't allow the kids to say "shut up", and in the movie Miss Hannigan tells the girls to shut up - Elizabeth always comes to me and says "mommie! guess what Miss Hannigan said?!" usually with a big smile on her face and then she says "we don't say shup up". She is so cute. And super smart.

Each person got to "dress up" as a character from the the Annie movie:

costumes for characters
Her cake was the heart locket that Annie wore in the movie and the cupcakes were the fireworks that they do at the end of the movie:

Yummiest cake and cupcakes EVER!!

PRESENTS!

I love her expressions!

We decorated by using the songs in Annie. It's a Hard Knock Life, Tomorrow, Let's Go to the Movies,
and You're Never Fully Dressed.  (the song Tomorrow was just a plaque on the cake table, and the Fully dressed song, was around the bathroom mirror I forgot to take a picture of it)

for the popcorn I used packing peanuts and painted them yellow

Brent made the film reel - who knew he was such and artist! ;)

We had a great time at Elizabeth's party. Afterwards, she asked if she would have another birthday. Now she loves birthdays. She sings happy birthday to random people and things all the time. Sweet girl!
