Days 2 and 3
Yesterday, we probably don't want to talk about. It started when we left at 8:30 in the morning in Tennessee and ended 14 hours later when we stopped in Pennsylvania. Seriously. That was just a little bit too long. But I was thankful for the teens endless happy energy and music that moved us down the road! We did stop for little while for supper and ate outside. The weather was perfect! There isn't much to say to make riding in a van too exciting, unless you are riding with Zac, so I'll post the few pictures we took along the way. We drove through the rest of Tennessee, Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. We tried to get pictures of the state signs and the Mason-Dixon Line, but it was too dark.
------hopefully I can get pictures loaded tomorrow, if there is time. The internet connection is slow right now. ----------
Tuesday morning. We needed to leave at 8:00 so we could make it to New York in time to pick Meagan at the airport. What time did me and Brent wake up? 7:20! Brent was dashing around and loading the vans. But we have a great group of helpers and everyone else was on time! Haha!
We had perfect timing picking up Meagan. Our team was complete and we only had two hours left until we reached our destination! Today we finished driving through Pennsylvania, we crossed the Delaware River, drove thru New Jersey, up New York and finally Vermont! We drove thru the cutest towns. I felt like we stepped back in time. There are not many brick houses. The siding is colorful and the countryside is beautiful!
