Why a charter bus can be fun
I am pretty sure that 6 and 9 are the perfect ages to travel by charter bus. There is endless fun.
Here are just a few examples of the fun.
1. There are plenty of friends!
2. You are still young enough to like sitting in or near the front. Breanna rode on the very front seat all the way home.
3. Hanging upside down with your pillows.
4. Hide and go seek with teenagers. Yes, when you are little there are plenty of places to hide on a bus!
5. TV for hours upon hours. Movies on the bus TV, movies on your iPad, movies on your computer. Movies everywhere.
6. Reading books while the miles go on and on. I think this was mostly for Breanna and myself!
7. Coloring.
8. Taking selfies with your hand me down camera from mom.
Which turns into the perfect selfie!
9. Blanket forts. I don't think I need to elaborate
10. There is a bathroom on the bus. Although, it took me about 5 minutes to convince Elizabeth that she wasn't going to fall in!
By the time you get...ah...older, the bus is not so much fun. Still fun with friends, but after a while your body starts to question why you got on the bus in the first place. Mostly, it wants to know
why you can't fully stretch out in the seat.
The ride to your destination is obviously more enjoyable than the ride home. Although, the ride home is noticeably quieter!
The ride home usually leaves you looking like this, no matter what your age!
