This past Saturday Brent had the opportunitity to speak at a wild game banquet. Now, I think that normally you would invite someone to speak at a wild game banquet who actually hunts wild game, but they asked Brent, who can act like wild game occasionally! Haha - little joke. Really they asked Brent to come and "break things" (as we call it). He has a presentation that includes tearing phone books and decks of playing cards, ripping apples in half, bending rebar <sp?>, smashing coke cans (not pumpkins), slamming a nail through a 2x4, things of that nature. He uses each trick to walk through the gospel. (except for the coke can - that's just fun and gets everyone wet.) He really enjoys getting to speak and perform the tricks. Mostly he just loves sharing about Jesus. OH~they did have the guy who was the championship turkey caller there and he did some turkey calls. That was neat.
We took the kids with us. They have never seen him do the presentation. THEY LOVED IT! Breanna said, "Papi is soo soo cool. He can break everything!" Benjamin said, "Papi you are like a superhero! I will give you my superhero clothes!" They were impressed and proud of him. So it was good for them to see him in his element.
The banquet also had bow and arrow shooting! Bre and Ben got to shoot a bow and arrow and loved it! We got some pictures of them. I love Breanna's since of style (most of the time). But she is so cute.

Love the pictures, but love the love more. You two are doing wonders in their lives, and they will be so much better off with you as their parents. Thank you again, for your love, for adoption, for being who you are!
In Christ's love,
Janet
