Three Gifts on Paper
Alright! I'm back and ready to go.
Today the kids were out of school. Honestly, I dread those days. I hate that I dread them. The past always makes me cringe. Usually their off days from school are not good days. Which is so sad, because every kid loves to be home from school!
Thankfully, it was a really good day! We also had a really great weekend, so that might have had something to do with it too. (more about that later)
My friend Beth and her husband have 2 boys and our kids love to play together and that's probably an understatement. I think Ben would move in if we let him. She invited us over for lunch and to play for the afternoon.
There's just something about getting out of the house or having friends over that makes life better.
Just Dance Kids, sword fighting, basketball, skating, lunch, and building a fort made the day fly for the kids. Beth and I enjoyed fun adult conversation.
I am so thankful that she invited us over. The whole day was a gift.
But here is Day 18 for February
Gifts on paper:
1. Beth is an artist and she and Elizabeth spent a few minutes coloring together.
2. Lunch with friends. (Beth has great wall decor in her house)
3. Bible reading
I hope this makes up for the lack of pictures the past few posts.
