Mexico, Part 2

The van rides to the children's home where we were serving always proved to be fun and interesting. We wove through three or four crazy cars lanes of traffic. The number of lanes depended on the width of the road and the number of cars at least from my opinion. Seatbelts really aren't going to do you much good. They are much better off used as a rope to keep yourself from falling into your neighbors lap, unless, of course, that is, if you aren't already sitting in your neighbor's lap! There must been a 1,000 speed bumps between the apartment and the children's home!
Here is an incredibly brief overview of our week:
We helped the church with a block party Sunday afternoon.
Monday thru Thursday we went to a children's home.

We played with the kids.

Taught Bible stories

Made crafts

Washed little dirty feet

Painted toenails

And loved little kids

We also toured a seminary there in the city. We loved working with the missionaries there and the girls who work with them daily. What a fabulous team! We loved making new friends with them. Can't wait to go back!
