Bienviendos!

Hagame el favor de traducir esta frase! For all of you non Spanish speaking friends and family, that simple means " Someone please translate this sentence!" I have feeling it will be used quite often. We made it to Lima around 11:30 PM, after clearing customs rather easily and quickly, we wated for what seemed like days on our luggage. 2 of our bags arrived pretty quickly on the luggage carrier, but slowly the crowd cleared, and not many people nor bags remained. Finally our final bags came through supporting the bright blue duct tape as an ID tag. We were then greated by an angry mob of taxi drivers begging anyone to get in their taxi. Imagine someone kicking over an ant hill of taxi drivers, holding signs with random names, screaming "Taxi" over the crowd, and your will have a slight idea of Welcome to Lima. We eventually found our taxi driver Pedro, and began the journey of packing 6 bags, and 2 wide eyed adults into his Corola. Turns out, it was a Rocket Ship, because we took off through the streets of Lima doing 80 mph barely missing anything and everything, including a teenager juggeling fire for tips in the middle of the street. The only tip we had was "Take cover!" We Arrived at San Antonio Abad Hotel at 1:15 A.M.  Here is a picture of our lovely hotel room,
We are heading to breakfast. We are excpeting to meet the kids around 5pm today. We are excited beyond belief this morning.

Excited for yall meeting the kids. Destin is excited to see the boys and girls on the computer. He listened to Uncle B last night and then we had to find a pix of Auntie M. Cody is doing well. Cold here. He is resting in the garage after eating breakfast. Granddaddy looked remarkably well yesterday and agreed to sign power of attorney papers and to work harder on his rehab. Have a great day. Love ya. Mom and Dad and Destin

Just received your invite to follow and soooooo excited for you and honored to keep you in prayer! We are in the process of going to Star also and already have an adopted daughter from Bolivia ... that was 14 years ago, God's sense of humor is truly amazing along with all his other wonderful attributes. Anyway, we can so relate to all your butterflies. We also know the Clarks quite well and they are amazing servants of the Lord! Speaking from experience, I am so blessed that the Lord allowed us to adopt ... the entire process and our daughter has truly changed our lives (the obvious and not so obvious) and I know that will be the same for you two ... times 3! Know that the Lord who has made all the seas is the very God who holds you in His hand. No matter what, He is beside you and will guide you during the butterflies, the fevers, the crocodile tears, the joy of their laughter and the love that will fill not only your heart but body and soul (actually it will overflow and the smile won't go away anytime soon)! Can't wait for the next post ... Blessings, Gabie Fox, Ps 37:23/24
