This morning after breakfast, Brent decided it was time to begin work on English words. The kids know quite a bit of English and are quick leaners. They are smart and enjoy learning new things. This is good because there is a lot of new about to happen in their life. There is a lot of new for me and Brent too! Brent holds up the flash card with a picture and the kids tell us the Spanish and English word then they write the English word on their paper. It was going really well until Olenka decided she wanted to be in charge and then she got mad and went to hide under the covers in the other bed. She sulked for a bit and came back and then got mad and went back to the covers. At this point, Brent started working on some simple multiplication with Hugo. I finally got Olenka to do some addition with me. I sometimes forget she's only 5. Cesia, who likes to do everything they do, was getting fiesty. Can you say naptime!?! HAHA!
Brent took the kids to the pool and Cesia went to sleep.
