Day 2 - Outside, Inside, and On a Plate
Today's Joy Dare was hard for me. Probably because I was frustrated most of the day and did not choose to find the joy in the manna.
But I did find three gifts. As fuzzy as they are in my brain to be seen as gifts....here they are:
1. Inside - Cloud 9. Cloud 9 is a fun place that is full of bouncy houses, a Wii, 2 dollhouses and a train set. For a certain price kids can play for hours. It was nice today to get out of the house. The kids played for about 2 hours. <no pictures of our outing>
2. Outside - Cold weather. I love the cold weather. Especially considering the insanely hot summer we experience in 2012.
3. Tonight I made Crock Pot Chicken Cream Cheese soup. It was delicious! The kids even liked it. I left out the cumin, chili pepper, and onion and it still had spice to it from the rotel. I decided to serve it with yellow rice, tortilla chips, and crescent rolls. I am not much of a cook, so I was pretty proud that it turned it out tasty!
