I'm still here
I know, you thought I whimed out. Or maybe you just thought I forgot. The truth is we have been slammed stinkin' busy! Plus the internet has been a little sketchy.
I'm at Brent's office, waiting on a call from CAPTI. It's like waiting for the principal to call to his office.
CAPTI is code for "play therapy". Ben and Bre visit there once or twice a week. I must really enjoy going places and sitting 45 minutes for the kids because we signed the kids up for extra-curriculars after school!
Well you know what time it is, time to catch up on joy.
Day 18 - Gifts from God's Word
1. Spending some quiet time with God
2. Studying a Sunday School lesson and learning to Genesis a new way
3. A heart to heart with Breanna about her memory verse: "Love your neighbor as you love yourself." Leviticus 19:18 (don't get the numbers swapped!)
Day 19 - Gifts that might never have been
1. Mom's visit - she is just getting over her broken ankle, I was so glad she braved the 3 hour drive to our house
2. The kids
3. Friends at our new church
Day 20 - Gifts only seen up close
1. Kisses
2. Meeting a someone special belonging to my friend
3. Visiting with Bashan
4. A Messy refrigerator shelf
Well I've got to get Elizabeth to school!
Stayed tuned for Days 21 and 22
