Day 24 - Three Gifts Blue
Today's gifts are as follows:
Blue Gift 1: Chairs at play therapy. We wait 45 minutes each session for the kids. Blue chairs are provided. They are comfortable (as comfortable as waiting room chairs can be) and Elizabeth is able to play games or read books while we wait. Mainly, I'm just thankful for the play therapy.
I mentioned a few posts ago, that we were waiting to meet with Ben's therapist. Today the wait was over. I will say that it faired much better than I originally thought. Ben is progressing in his therapy. YEAH! Hopefully with his tutor and if we can get him in karate or something, he will begin to grow even more.
Blue Gift 2: My quilt. This quilt is made by my grandmother. She died this past summer. It was her gift to me. I also have a quilt that was made by my mom. It is blue too! I just thought of it! She made it with squares from my baby clothes. She is so smart to have know that I would like squares better than circles, even at such a young age (wink).
Blue Gift 3: The jewelry I wore today. The jewelry itself wasn't a gift. But the job where I got the jewelry was a blessing! In the beginning of adopting the kids, we were trying to find ways to save or make extra money. At random, I went to a Premier Designs jewelry party hosted by a friend from church. During the party, I realized I knew this company as a result from my job during our years at seminary. Brent and I thought about it and decided this was an excellent way for me to earn extra money that we put aside for adoption expenses. It proved to be a "profitable" idea! I am so thankful that God opened the door for me to work with Premier Designs.

Finding God in the small things.
Good night. Sleep tight.
