Day 5 - Something you're reading, making, seeing

My brain is fuzzy tonight. So I'm not sure how this post will turn out. My eyes are sleepy and my body is tired. Ever feel that way?

I had hopes of sending the kids to bed early tonight to start the school schedule again, but alas, that did not happen. This is all due to late naps and school projects due on Monday.

So without further ado, the joys of the are:

1. Something I am reading - Christian Fiction. This morning I just stayed in bed and read. I love reading, but snuggling under the warm covers with a book is the best, especially when it is a fiction book and my brain doesn't have to concentrate much.

2. Something I am making - I do love to make things (which is why I need to fast from Pinterest)!
The only thing I am making today is a reading project. I suppose I should say I am helping to make a 5th grade reading project. But it has been fun, for the most part, working on this with Ben. It's been a family project.

3. Something I am seeing - Today it was Brent reading to Breanna and making Elizabeth hot chocolate. I only saw Brent and Breanna in quick glance. I watched the hot chocolate scene while sitting in the covers reading. So sweet.

I remembered today that I forgot to give you the link to the recipe that I made on Day 2, so here is the link. Crock Pot Cream Cheese Chicken Chile by Rita May

As I wrote on Day 2,  I left out the cumin, chili pepper, and onion and it still had spice to it from the rotel. I decided to serve it with yellow rice, tortilla chips, and crescent rolls. I might add the onion powder the next time I make it.

Give a try on a cold day!

PS - I also bought Italian dressing for another recipe I found that I wanted to make, the only problem is I don't remember what recipe I was going to make nor where I found it! Maybe it's on my Pinterest food board!

I'll keep you posted if I figure it out or if you have a recipe involving Italian dressing send it my way!
